Regulated advice

Immigration advice is regulated, and only a solicitor or an adviser registered with the Immigration Advice Authority may give it. Reserved legal activities, such as conducting court proceedings and some probate work, need an authorised person. For advice on your own situation, speak to a solicitor, a regulated immigration adviser, a trade union, Acas or Citizens Advice.
